Timber conservatories

Originally Norman Pratt worked exclusively with timber.   

Over the years vast experience has been gained and today’s timber conservatories reflect this proud tradition.   Many fine homes throughout Ireland have added a timber conservatory and enjoy the timeless elegance only wood can achieve.

A cedar wood conservatory is normally treated with wood stain to emphasize the natural beauty of the wood.   

Hardwood conservatories are often painted to give a more formal effect.   

Oak conservatories can be either double or triple glazed and are amongst the higher rated options.

Maintenance free conservatories

A hardwood conservatory can become maintenance free by using aluminium to protect the exterior surface from weathering.    This can be achieved using our AluClad conservatory system and is often combined with self cleaning glass to really minimize the attention needed to keep everything in tip top condition.   This combination can be really useful when access Is difficult, for instance when enclosing balconies at high level.

Aluminium conservatories are often used in our more contemporary designs.   A modern look combined with high performance and low maintenance can be an attractive choice for the right location.

uPVC conservtory systems represents our best value range. The frames and roof rafters have hidden aluminium re-enforcing that provides outstanding structural strength.  Over the last few years great advances have been made with the range of finishes available. Natural wood effects include Light Oak, Mahogany and Cherry. As well as fresh white, we can offer soft white, Cream, Grey, Green, Burgandy and Black.

Conservatory Prices

Conservatory prices vary depending on size, material used and complexity of design. Site conditions and access also has a bearing on costs. Let us know what you would ideally like to achieve.   In most cases we can give an early indication of cost. We regulary work closly with clients to arrive at a solution to suit both essential requirements and Budget!
