Structural Glazing

Structural glazing or ‘Planar’ glazing is often used to enhance prominent areas of commercial buildings.     Large glass facades are possible which create stunningly attractive environments with more light and an unmatched feeling of space.

A viewing location that would benefit from large uninterrupted areas of glass is also an ideal application.

The system comprises of frameless glass units each of which is supported by point fixings, normally stainless steel.    A fully flush glass surface is achieved with the minimum of structure and the maximum visual clarity.   Support is usually taken from a separate structure, or glass fins or portals can be used.
